Me + Piano = Music, Me + Fashion = Daring , Me + Technology = Ructions!!!! You know those people who effortlessly switch on a new appliance of some sort, glance at the manual and get it right the first time? ....those are the people I love to hate hehehe
For my first assignment at Uni we were specifically asked to hand in typed, not written. So I sat down in front of my PC, and started typing........till I got to the end of that line and I had absolutely NO clue how to get to the next line! After much ado, huffing and puffing almost bringing the house down with my yelling and cries of despair, my dad, MY DAD, pressed the enter key and there I was ready to write the next line.
During the 7 hours which followed I mastered the use of Tab, Copy and Paste AND the Formatting palette. It took me another two months to discover the change in font though, so I almost became visually impaired trying to read font 8, so did my lecturer!
Yeah yeah you can think I had a brain the size of a walnut all you like, the point is, I`ve never ever embraced technology like many others seem to. When we switched from brick sized mobile phones to lighter ones like my Genie (voted number 1 phone in 1998) I struggled to adjust to all the fancy functions, which nowadays seem pre historic!!
I must admit though I have warmed up to the idea of using technology to my advantage. Thanks to my BB I am writing this blog and will be uploading it via my phone! Who would`ve thought back in `98 while strutting my stuff with my Jumbo mobile phone to my ear, that I`d always be able to be a step ahead?
Credit is also due to my amazing internet team Broken Axe who have created this website and take care of my cyber stuff. I love how they snigger on the other end of the phone when I ask for reasons as to why I have to empty my cache....I mean what is that all about? hehehe, which they respond to with the same annoying certainty of the Pi digit. Well, they know their stuff and I rely on their expertise.
Now....how to log off? Hehehe I`m not THAT mentally challenged!
